1. IMPORT 

This license is mandatory for companies or persons who conduct fish import activities or fish products and business that have been registered under Rule 3 (2) of the Fish Marketing Rules 2010.

1. Applicants must be Malaysian Citizens..
2. The applicant company must be registered in Malaysia..
3. Applications must be made in the name of the company owner or one of the Directors of the Company.
4. Have sufficient financial capital to conduct business for frozen fish category application.
5. Have appropriate business facilities based on the category of fish applied for. (Please refer to the facility conditions as shown in Table 1)
 
1. A Copy of Identity Card
2. A passport-sized photo (blue).
3. A Copy of Identity Card.
4. Bank statement with financial capital of RM100,000.00 for frozen fish category.
5. SSM document (Please refer to the table 2).
6. Ownership documents for business facilities based on Table 2.
7. Letter from the Department of Fisheries for the category of live fish.

2. EXPORT 

This license is mandatory for companies or persons who conduct fish import activities or fish products and business that have been registered under Rule 3 (2) of the Fish Marketing Rules 2010.

1. Applicants must be Malaysian Citizens.
2. The applicant company must be registered in Malaysia.
3. Applications must be made in the name of the company owner or one of the Directors of the Company.
4. Have sufficient financial capital to conduct business for frozen fish category application.
5. Have appropriate business facilities based on the category of fish applied for. (Please refer to the facility conditions as shown in Table 1)

2. A passport-sized photo (blue).

4. SSM document (Please refer to the table 2)
5. Ownership documents for business facilities based on Table 2.).
6. Letter from the Department of Fisheries for the category of live fish.

3. WHOLESALE

This license is mandatory for companies or persons doing business (Wholesale Market & LKIM Complex) that have been gazetted under Rule 3 (1) of the Fish Marketing Rules 2010.

1. Applicants must be Malaysian Citizens.
2. The applicant company must be registered in Malaysia.
3. The application must be made in the name of the owner of the company or one of the Directors of the Company.
4. Have appropriate business facilities based on the category of fish applied for.
(Please refer to the facility conditions as shown in Table 1)
5. Must have a business lot inside the LKIM Complex or at the Wholesale Market.
6. Has received permission / support letter from LKIM Complex Management.
7. Owners of business lots in the wholesale market.

2. A passport-sized photo (blue).
3. SSM document (Please refer to the table 2)
4. wnership documents for business facilities based on Table 2.
5. Letter from the Department of Fisheries for the category of live fish.
6. A copy of the LKIM Complex Management Support Letter / Permission
7. Copy of ownership of rental lot of business in the wholesale market.

4. PROSESS 
This license is mandatory for companies or persons processing fish under Rule 6 (1) of the Fish Marketing Rules 2010.

1. Applicants must be Malaysian Citizens.
2. The applicant company must be registered in Malaysia.
3. The application must be made in the name of the owner of the company or one of the Directors of the Company.
4. Have appropriate business facilities based on the category of fish applied for.
(Please refer to the facility conditions as shown in Table 1)

2. A passport-sized photo (blue).
3. SSM document (Please refer to the table 2)
4. Ownership documents for business facilities based on Table 2.).
5. Letter from the Department of Fisheries for the category of live fish.

5. AUCTION 
This registration license is mandatory for companies or persons conducting fish auctions in Malaysia under Rule 13 (1) of the Fish Marketing Rules 2010.
1. Applicants must be Malaysian Citizens.
2. The applicant company must be registered in Malaysia.
3. The application must be made in the name of the owner of the company or one of the Directors of the Company.
4. Have appropriate business facilities based on the category of fish applied for.
(Please refer to the facility conditions as shown in Table 1)
5. Has received permission / support letter from LKIM Complex Management.

2. A passport-sized photo (blue).
3. SSM document (Please refer to the table 2)
4. Ownership documents for business facilities based on Table 2.
5. Letter from the Department of Fisheries for the category of live fish.

6. RETAIL 

 
This license is mandatory for retailers who do business  (buy fish in the LKIM Complex) in places that have been gazetted under Rule 3 (1) of the Fish Marketing Rules 2010.
1. Applicants must be Malaysian Citizens.
2. The applicant company must be registered in Malaysia.
3. Have appropriate business facilities based on the category of fish applied for.
(Please refer to the facility conditions as shown in Table 1)
4. Has received permission / support letter from LKIM Complex Management.

2. A passport-sized photo (blue).
3. Ownership documents for business facilities based on Table 2.
4. Letter from the Department of Fisheries for the category of live fish.

7. TEMPORARY PERMISSION  LICENSE 


This license is granted to individuals, companies, organizations, Departments or Agencies to bring in fish for the purpose of research, exhibitions, studies, sampling, market trials and other purposes deemed necessary in accordance with Rule 24 (2), Fish Marketing Rules 2010.
1. Applicants must be Malaysian Citizens.
2. The applicant company must be registered in Malaysia.
3. Application for research purposes, exhibitions, studies, sampling, market trials and
other purposes deemed necessary by LKIM.
4. Applications must be made within 14 days before the date of admission.
